Jordan Holt Obituary-Shooting News: Salisbury Woman Killed in Wicomico County Shooting
With broken hearts and profound sadness, family, friends, and loved ones are mourning the tragic loss of Jordan Holt, 29, of Salisbury, whose life was cut short Thursday evening following a fatal shooting at a residence on Ethels Way in Wicomico County.

According to Maryland State Police, troopers responded shortly after 8 p.m. to a home in the 400 block of Ethels Way after receiving a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, troopers discovered Jordan suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency medical services personnel responded, but Jordan was pronounced deceased at the scene.

According to the preliminary investigation, Jordan and Gage Mitchell, 29, also of Salisbury, had been involved in a verbal altercation inside the residence before Mitchell allegedly shot Jordan.
Police said Mitchell then fled the home. Troopers located him a short time later and arrested him without incident. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
