The community of Greenville is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Howard Lorenzo Cantrell, who tragically lost his life in a devastating crash Tuesday evening on White Horse Road.
According to officials, the fatal collision occurred around 5:20 p.m. on May 12, 2026, at the intersection of White Horse Road and Old White Horse Road in Greenville County. Investigators say witnesses reported that a southbound vehicle crossed multiple lanes uncontrollably before overturning and colliding with another vehicle stopped at the intersection.
Sadly, Howard Lorenzo Cantrell was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of the severe injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities later confirmed he died from blunt force injuries.
