FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A man was rushed to a South Florida hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot Wednesday morning in a Fort Lauderdale neighborhood, authorities said.
Fort Lauderdale Police officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly after 11 a.m. on October 7, 2026, in the 1700 block of Northwest 13th Court, an area located just east of Interstate 95.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported him to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was receiving treatment for injuries described by police as life-threatening.
