Montgomery Shooting: Police Seek Two Suspects After Man Seriously Wounded on West Fairview Avenue
MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying two people believed to be connected to a shooting that left a man seriously injured in Montgomery.
The shooting happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in the 800 block of West Fairview Avenue, according to Montgomery police.
Officers and emergency medical personnel responded to the area following reports of gunfire. When first responders arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His injuries were described as life-threatening, according to police.
Police Search for Two Suspects
Investigators are now working to identify two suspects believed to have been involved in the shooting.
Police said the suspects reportedly fled the area in a newer-model dark gray Kia Telluride.
Authorities have not publicly released additional identifying information about the two individuals, and investigators have not announced an arrest in connection with the shooting.
