MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota —** A 21-year-old Minneapolis woman has been charged in connection with a July shooting outside Reign Nightclub that left **nine people wounded**, with prosecutors alleging the gunfire was carried out as retaliation for an earlier assault involving her boyfriend.
**Veronica Marie Brown** was charged Wednesday, October 7, in Hennepin County District Court with **participating in a drive-by shooting** and **second-degree assault** in connection with the July 19 shooting. Additional surveillance footage allegedly showed Brown sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle with her boyfriend inside. The complaint also states that investigators found a mixture containing Brown’s DNA on evidence recovered from the shooting scene.
### Prosecutors Allege Retaliation Motive
