The Harris County community is mourning the tragic and sudden loss of 36-year-old Marlon Sanders, who was fatally shot Tuesday, May 26, in the 12700 block of Blue Timbers Court near Tidwell and C.E. King Parkway.
Authorities identified Sanders as the victim of a deadly shooting that stemmed from a domestic-related situation. According to investigators, Sanders was standing near his vehicle in the roadway when he was allegedly shot by Gary Davis, 37, following an encounter at the residence. No other individuals were injured during the incident.
Precinct 3 deputies responded to the scene shortly after the shooting was reported. Emergency responders transported Sanders to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased from his injuries.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Homicide Division processed the scene and gathered evidence as part of the investigation.
