THORNTON, Colo. — Authorities are investigating the death of a 21-year-old woman who was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a Thornton residence and later succumbed to her injuries.
Officials identified the victim as Leah Anderson, 21. Emergency responders were dispatched to the home after receiving a report of a shooting and discovered Anderson with a severe head injury. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead.
