For 26 years, James was a cornerstone of the Marathon medical team, playing an essential role in ensuring the safety and well-being of countless participants and volunteers. Since the earliest days of the event, he helped build and coordinate a highly effective medical operation, bringing together Finish Line medical staff, course medical teams, HAM radio operators, EMSA personnel, and dedicated volunteers.
Known for his generosity, professionalism, and tireless work ethic, James took great pride in securing medical supplies and equipment through partnerships with EMSA, INTEGRIS Health, and other community organizations.
