The Anniston, Alabama, community is mourning the tragic loss of Cia Carmeshia Williams, a 32-year-old woman who died following a devastating head-on collision involving her vehicle and an 18-wheel tractor-trailer on Alabama Highway 77 in Ohatchee.
According to the Ohatchee Police Department, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 5:25 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, near Margie Lane. Authorities said Williams was driving a 2017 Kia Forte when the vehicle was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer traveling along the highway.
Emergency crews responded to the scene after the crash was reported. Despite the efforts of first responders, Williams suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown.
