Bob Montgomery Obituary, Cause of Death: Cycling Legend Remembered After Final Ride for MND Awareness
Bob Montgomery spent his final days doing what had defined much of his life—using his passion for cycling to help others. The six-week fundraising challenge, known as “One Last Ride,” marked Bob’s sixth major long-distance cycling effort in support of Motor Neurone Disease NSW. The cause held deep personal meaning for Bob after the loss of his cousin, Judith O’Brien, to MND. Her passing inspired his commitment to raising awareness and supporting families affected by the disease.
