According to Virginia State Police, troopers were dispatched at approximately 7:52 a.m. to Waterlick Road, about one mile west of Lawyers Road, after reports of a serious crash. When first responders arrived, they discovered a 2014 Hyundai Elantra that had run off the roadway and overturned.

Investigators say the vehicle left the road for reasons still under investigation before rolling over. During the impact, Anthony was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities also confirmed that Anthony was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, a factor that may have contributed to the severity of his injuries. Officials are continuing to examine all possible contributing elements, including roadway conditions, speed, and other circumstances surrounding the incident.

The news of his passing has left family, friends, and the Lynch Station community devastated. Loved ones are struggling to accept the sudden loss of a man who was deeply familiar to many in the area and whose presence will be sorely missed.

As the investigation continues, Virginia State Police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in understanding the full sequence of events leading up to the crash.
