Victim Transported to Hospital, Later Dies
Major David Lapatin of the Providence Police Department stated that officers responded to reports of gunfire and located a victim suffering from gunshot injuries.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment, but authorities later confirmed the victim succumbed to their injuries.
