According to the Springfield Police Division, Fenner was traveling northbound on Burnett Road when his motorcycle was struck by a GMC Sonoma making a left turn from North Burnett Road onto East Main Street. The impact ejected Fenner from the motorcycle, and he was rushed to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
