The Allen County Coroner has identified the man who died following a shooting at the Canterbury Green apartment complex in northeast Fort Wayne.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Noah Price. According to the Allen County Coroner’s Office, Price died from a gunshot wound to the torso. Officials have ruled his death a homicide.
Authorities say the shooting occurred around 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the 2400 block of Abbey Drive inside the Canterbury Green Apartments complex. Emergency crews and officers with the Allen County Coroner responded after reports of gunfire in the area.
When first responders arrived, they located Price suffering from a critical gunshot injury. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators with the Fort Wayne Police Department remain actively engaged in the case. At this time, no suspect has been identified, and authorities have not released information regarding a possible motive or circumstances leading up to the shooting.
The incident marks another violent death in the city this year, as officials confirmed this is the 11th homicide recorded in Fort Wayne in 2026.
Police are urging anyone with information about the shooting or suspicious activity in the Canterbury Green area around the time of the incident to come forward as the investigation continues.
