The Gulfport Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a drive-by shooting investigation.
Authorities say Deshawn Marques Reed is currently wanted on an active felony warrant related to a reported drive-by shooting incident. Investigators have not yet released additional details surrounding the case but warn that Reed should be considered armed and dangerous.
Reed is described as a 21-year-old Black male standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 260 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and black facial hair.
Law enforcement officials are urging residents not to approach or attempt to confront Reed if he is seen. Instead, anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers immediately.
Tips can be submitted anonymously through the P3 Tips mobile app or by calling **TIPS. Authorities noted that cash rewards may be available for information leading to a felony arrest. To be eligible for a reward, all information must be submitted directly through Crime Stoppers.
The investigation remains ongoing.
