The community of Bonne Terre is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Graham Joshua Clark, a joyful and spirited four-year-old whose life was tragically cut short in an accident on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Born on March 5, 2022, in St. Louis, Missouri, Graham was the beloved son of Joshua Eugene and Brittany Lea (Kirkpatrick) Clark. Though his time on earth was brief, he left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, remembered for his bright personality, affectionate nature, and boundless curiosity.
Graham was known as a lively and adventurous child who embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved spending time outdoors, riding his four-wheeler, fishing, and playing T-ball and basketball. At home, he shared a close bond with his older brother, Layne Green, often filling the house with laughter as the two played and wrestled together. His presence brought joy and energy into every space he entered.
Family members describe Graham as a child with a deeply loving and expressive heart. He had a unique way of making others feel special, often telling people, “You are #1,” and greeting even strangers with curiosity and warmth. His innocent questions and desire to connect reflected a natural openness that endeared him to all who met him.
Graham also found happiness in the simple things in life—helping his father in the garage, spending time with his mother, and caring for his cherished chickens and loyal dog, Hank. Even at a young age, he showed a strong sense of kindness and understanding, often reminding those around him of the importance of friendship, love, and appreciation for everyday moments.
He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Ava Joy Clark.
Graham is survived by his loving parents, Joshua and Brittany Clark; his brother, Layne Green; his paternal grandparents, Adam and Margaret Clark; maternal grandparents, Rhonda Price and David Price, and Ray Kirkpatrick and Rachel Kirkpatrick; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who adored him deeply.
