Authorities in Vance County are investigating a deadly shooting that claimed the life of James Boggs during the early morning hours of May 23 in Henderson, North Carolina.
According to the Vance County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 3:00 a.m. to a residence in the 400 block of Lemay Lane after reports were received about a person suffering from a gunshot wound.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found 33-year-old James Boggs with a gunshot injury. Emergency responders attempted to assist, but authorities confirmed that Boggs was pronounced deceased at the scene.
