Superintendent Sheri Satterly described Kendall as “a beautiful, talented soul,” remembering her as someone who brought positivity into every space she entered. “Whether in the classroom or on the court, Kendall was a joy to know and be around,” Satterly said in a statement.

School officials shared that Kendall’s presence was deeply felt throughout the district, and her loss has created a painful void among those who knew her. Students and staff alike are reflecting on her life, her achievements, and the lasting impact she made during her time at Frankfort High School.

In response to the tragedy, the district announced that grief counselors and support resources will be available on-site for students and members of the 2025 graduating class when classes resume Tuesday. Officials emphasized that support will remain accessible for anyone struggling with the news.
