The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Kingston Lebron Kelly, 18, is facing charges of murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Authorities say he is currently being held at the Greenville County Detention Center on no bond.
The charges stem from the death of 25-year-old Brykevious Santwan Williams, who was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle on Leacroft Drive on May 16, 2026. Emergency responders transported Williams to a local hospital, where he later died on May 22. Following an investigation, officials ruled his death a homicide.
According to investigators, the shooting was not an isolated incident, but rather connected to an armed robbery that occurred earlier at Club Fusion on East North Street. Detectives say the violent encounter unfolded after the robbery, ultimately leading to the fatal shooting that left Williams critically injured.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional details regarding what led to the confrontation or the specific sequence of events between the armed robbery and the shooting. However, officials confirmed that evidence gathered during the investigation, along with witness statements, helped lead to the identification and arrest of Kelly.
Authorities say the investigation remains active as detectives continue working to piece together the full timeline of events and determine whether additional individuals may have been involved.
Williams’ death has been ruled a homicide by officials, and his passing has left family and the local community mourning a life cut short by violence. Loved ones are now left searching for answers as investigators work through the details surrounding both the robbery and the fatal shooting.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with additional information related to the case or the events surrounding the armed robbery at Club Fusion to come forward and assist investigators.
