Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 6:19 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash just east of County Road 143. Officials confirmed the incident involved a single passenger vehicle traveling on FM 1760.

According to the crash report, the vehicle was driven by 29-year-old Bayley Sanchez, who was traveling westbound on FM 1760 when she approached a right-hand curve in the roadway. Investigators say the vehicle failed to follow the curve and instead continued straight, entering the eastbound lane.

Authorities stated that Sanchez then overcorrected, crossing back into the westbound lane before leaving the roadway and striking the north barrow ditch. The impact caused the vehicle to roll.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Sanchez was pronounced deceased at the location of the crash.

Texas DPS officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the rollover. At this time, no additional vehicles were involved, and no further details have been released.

The tragic crash has left family and community members mourning the sudden loss of Bayley Sanchez, a young woman whose life ended far too soon in a devastating early morning accident.
