According to authorities, the semi-truck came to rest on the shoulder of SR 240 while the SUV remained in the roadway. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but at least one person was pronounced dead. Later, Teresa’s daughter shared the painful news that her mother had lost her life in the crash.
