People are being advised to stay away from the 800 block of Cedar Street Southwest in Isanti as gunshots are believed to be coming from inside a home, according to police.
The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office announced at 3:34 p.m. that it received reports of gunfire on the 800 block of Cedar Street Southwest, thus warning people to avoid the area as it may be a life-threatening situation to anyone outside.
Anoka County SWAT is reportedly at the scene, and people commenting on the sheriff’s office’s Facebook post say they can hear gunshots from a “few blocks away,” while another individual claimed gunshots went “past my bedroom window.”
