The Maple Grove community is coming together in support of Carter Fulton, a student at Breakaway Academy and young athlete who is beginning a difficult recovery following a serious scooter accident.
When a young person faces an unexpected challenge, the strength and support of a community can become a powerful source of encouragement. That support has surrounded Carter and his family as friends, classmates, teammates, coaches, and community members rally behind him during this difficult time.

Carter’s connection to hockey has played an important role in shaping many of his friendships. Through the sport, he has built meaningful relationships with teammates and friends who continue to stand by him throughout his recovery journey.
One longtime friend, Colton, reportedly met Carter when the two were just 5 years old while playing mini-mite hockey. Their friendship has continued through the years, creating a bond built on shared experiences, teamwork, and countless memories.
As Carter focuses on healing, the community continues to offer encouragement, prayers, and support to him and his family. The many messages of hope reflect the impact Carter has had on those around him and the number of people who are committed to seeing him overcome this challenge.
