The FBI is asking the public for information about 19-year-old Joseph Warledo, also known as “Bando,” as investigators determine whether additional teenage girls may have been victims of alleged sexual assaults.
Warledo has been indicted in federal court on charges including two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, assault with a dangerous weapon and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime. The charges are allegations and do not constitute convictions.
According to the federal indictment described in the information provided, investigators are examining several incidents involving teenage girls who allegedly encountered Warledo through social media or through mutual acquaintances.
Authorities say one investigation began after a 13-year-old girl reported that she had been sexually assaulted after meeting the suspect online. Investigators allege that the girl was provided alcohol and later lost awareness of what was happening. A friend reportedly attempted to intervene and was allegedly pushed away.
Another teenager reportedly contacted Tulsa police in 2026 and alleged that she had been sexually assaulted after being given alcohol and pills. Investigators reportedly recovered social-media communications and other evidence that they say may be relevant to the allegation.
A separate report made to Broken Arrow police involved a girl who allegedly met Warledo through social media and believed she was interacting with a friend. Investigators say she reported losing awareness after consuming alcohol and later alleged that Warledo shared an intimate image of her without her permission.
Federal investigators are also examining allegations involving firearms. The indictment reportedly references an April 2025 shooting at Turner Park in Tulsa, where numerous teenagers were present and one person was struck by gunfire. Authorities allege that Warledo was among those who possessed a firearm during the incident.
Another alleged firearms incident reportedly occurred at a party at an event center on North Sheridan in July 2025. Authorities say Warledo became involved in a confrontation and allegedly fired several rounds in a parking area.
FBI Appeals for Additional Information
The FBI is seeking to determine whether there are additional victims or witnesses who have not yet come forward. Investigators are particularly interested in information involving teenage girls who may have had contact with Warledo.
Anyone who believes they may have relevant information can contact investigators through the FBI’s official victim-information process.
Because the allegations involve minors and sexual violence, authorities may withhold identifying information to protect the privacy and safety of potential victims.
The investigation remains ongoing, and prosecutors will have to prove the federal charges in court. Warledo is presumed innocent unless and until he is proven guilty.
