Ryan was born on April 11, 2005, in Meadville to Sean Carpenter and Jessica Parsons. He grew up surrounded by family and friendships that remained an important part of his life.
A graduate of Meadville High School’s class of 2024, Ryan continued his education at Edinboro University. Those who knew him will remember him not only for his educational journey but also for the time he enjoyed spending with the people closest to him.
Ryan particularly enjoyed hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family. These simple moments became meaningful parts of his life and are now among the memories his loved ones will hold onto.

Ryan is survived by his mother, Jessica Parsons, and her partner, Nicholas Collins of Meadville, and his father, Sean Carpenter of Meadville. He also leaves behind two brothers, Michael Brown and Jaxen Foster.
His surviving family includes his stepfather, Jeremiah Brown, and his family; maternal grandparents Darlene Parsons and Jeffrey Parsons and his significant other, Robin Burke; and paternal grandfather Randy Carpenter and his wife, Penny.
Ryan is also survived by his aunt Jennifer Parsons and her partner, Joe Paris; uncles Justin Parsons and his partner, Christy McGahen, and Jason Parsons; aunt Mandie Hubert; stepbrother Joey Vincik; and many additional aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Dawn Carpenter, and his cousin, Summer Parsons. Their memories remain part of the family history Ryan shared with those closest to him.
For Ryan’s loved ones, the days ahead will be filled with grief but also with reflection on the moments they shared. Family gatherings, friendships, conversations, and everyday experiences will become cherished reminders of his life.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, Pennsylvania 16335.
A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Kent Bell of Bethel Life Worship Center of Greenville, Pennsylvania, officiating.
The gathering will give Ryan’s family, friends, and loved ones an opportunity to come together, honor his memory, and support one another as they mourn his unexpected passing.
