Keith Staines Obituary – Car Accident: Tamaqua Community Mourns 52-Year-Old Tanker Driver Killed in Lynn Township Crash

Keith was pronounced dead after a collision involving his tanker truck and another tractor-trailer at the intersection of Route 309 and Gun Club Road. The crash prompted an emergency response from local authorities and first responders, who arrived at the scene shortly after receiving reports of the serious collision.

According to officials, the crash was reported at approximately 3:35 p.m. Friday. Despite efforts by emergency personnel to provide assistance, Keith tragically did not survive and was pronounced dead at about 4:10 p.m.

No other fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. Authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision as they work to determine what led to the incident.

The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy for Monday, August 10, to help determine the cause and manner of Keith’s death.
