Stacey’s life was filled with determination, compassion, and meaningful connections. Her passing has left a profound void for those who knew and loved her, but her memory will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
Born on October 27, 1983, in Meadville, Stacey was the daughter of Robert J. Shay Jr. and the late Darla (Gamble) Shay. She attended Meadville High School and later continued her education at Edinboro University.
Throughout her professional life, Stacey dedicated herself to caring for others through her work in in-home healthcare with Sunny Days. Her compassion and willingness to help others reflected the kindness she carried throughout her life.
During her high school years, Stacey was known as a talented and passionate athlete. She participated in basketball, softball, wrestling, and soccer, showing her determination, teamwork, and love for competition.
Beyond sports and work, Stacey enjoyed spending time outdoors and creating memories with those around her. She was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and found joy in celebrating special occasions, especially Halloween and Christmas. She also enjoyed shopping and the simple moments that brought happiness into her life.
Those who knew Stacey are remembering her for her strength, humor, caring heart, and the many memories she created with family and friends.
