New Bern Police Investigate Suspected Gang-Related Shooting That Killed 18-Year-Old

According to investigators, Grant was fatally shot on May 23 in the area of McKinley Avenue and Charles Street in New Bern, North Carolina. Authorities believe the shooting may have been gang-related, though investigators have not released all details surrounding the circumstances of the incident.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the shooting, saw suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident, or may have information about those involved to come forward.
