Callum Skilling Obituary, Cause of Death: Camp IHC Mourns Beloved Alumni Staff Member After Reported Passing
The Camp IHC community is mourning the sudden reported passing of Callum Skilling, a beloved alumni staff member whose kindness, dedication, and commitment left a lasting impression on campers, colleagues, and friends.
Callum was a deeply valued member of the IHC family, giving seven summers of his time and energy to the camp. Throughout those years, he built meaningful relationships, shared countless experiences, and became someone whose presence was deeply appreciated by the people around him.
One of the most meaningful parts of Callum’s time at IHC was the opportunity to return year after year and spend his summers alongside many of the same campers. He watched them grow from young campers into older members of the community and ultimately had the privilege of seeing them through their CIT summer in 2025.
Those lasting relationships reflected the care and patience Callum brought to his role. His commitment went beyond simply working at camp; he became part of the lives and memories of the young people he helped guide.
For fellow staff members and alumni, Callum’s passing represents the loss of someone who contributed greatly to the spirit and community of IHC. His kindness, dedication, and ability to build genuine connections will remain an important part of the memories shared by those who knew him.
As the Camp IHC family grieves, campers, alumni, colleagues, and friends are remembering Callum with gratitude for the years he gave to the community and the lives he touched along the way.
Callum Skilling will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by the entire Camp IHC family and all those fortunate enough to have known him.
