Mark, 69, of New Iberia, was called home to the Lord on August 19, 2026. He was born on February 25, 1957, as the third child of Joyce Mazerole Broussard and John Gilton Broussard. He spent his early years growing up on the family farm in Bayou Jack, where he learned the importance of hard work, responsibility, and perseverance.
Throughout his life, Mark carried those values with him, building strong relationships and leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mark married his high school sweetheart, Linda Babineaux Broussard, and together they built a loving family. He was a devoted husband and father who took great pride in raising their three children. His six grandchildren held a particularly special place in his heart, and his family remembered him as a loving protector, mentor, and constant source of encouragement.
