Woman killed, man injured
Police were dispatched at approximately 12:07 a.m. to the townhome complex in the area of Wemberly Circle and Woburn Lane.
When officers arrived, they discovered an adult woman and an adult man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Duncanville Fire Department personnel provided emergency medical treatment at the scene before both victims were transported to area hospitals.
The woman was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries. The man was transported to Methodist Charlton Medical Center and was reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers initiated a pursuit that continued into Dallas.
The pursuit eventually ended in the 6300 block of Interstate 20, where police took Emajin Trevon Jackson into custody without incident.

Detectives continue processing evidence and gathering information from witnesses as they reconstruct the sequence of events.
Investigators are expected to examine physical evidence from the townhome complex, witness accounts and any available surveillance footage.
