CUMMING, Ga. — The Cumming community is mourning the reported death of Caleb Johnson, an 18-year-old who died following a motorcycle accident on Peachtree Parkway in Forsyth County, Georgia, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area at approximately 2 p.m. after multiple 911 calls reported a serious collision involving a motorcycle and a black Honda Pilot. Johnson, who was from Cumming, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the Honda Pilot was traveling south on Peachtree Parkway and had stopped while its driver waited to make a left turn into a Walmart shopping center. As the vehicle began turning, Johnson’s motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the SUV.
