On Saturday, September 5, the life of Douglas Whipple, 74, of Lake Jackson, Texas, was tragically cut short following a fatal crash on State Highway 5 near Dwelle Road in Norfork, Arkansas.
According to the information provided, the crash occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. as Whipple was traveling southbound in a 2013 Honda.
For reasons that remain unclear, the Honda crossed the center line and collided with a 2024 GMC traveling in the opposite direction. The collision prompted a response from the Arkansas State Police and emergency personnel.
Despite the efforts of first responders, Whipple could not be saved and was pronounced deceased following the crash.
