According to the Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic violence call at approximately 1:32 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026, at a residence located on Pecan Drive, outside the Cleveland city limits.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered Freeman deceased inside the home. Authorities said he was found on a couch suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators determined that the shooting occurred inside the residence, and Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene.
