The Spooner community is mourning the tragic death of 34-year-old Brian Thomas Carlson of Spooner, Wisconsin, who died following a motorcycle crash on Monday, September 14, 2026.
According to officials, the fatal collision occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. on U.S. 63 southbound near DVM Road in Spooner. Carlson was traveling southbound on his motorcycle when he became involved in a collision with a pickup truck.
Authorities said one pickup truck, which was pulling a boat, was traveling southbound before turning onto DVM Road. At the same time, another pickup truck was stopped at the intersection of DVM Road and U.S. 63 before proceeding to make a northbound turn onto U.S. 63.
During the sequence of events, the pickup truck collided with Carlson’s motorcycle, resulting in the fatal crash.
