Izzy Obituary-Cause of Death: Georgia College Community Mourns Loss of Pre-Nursing Student and Soccer Player
MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA — With heavy hearts, the Georgia College & State University (GCSU) community is mourning the loss of Izzy, a pre-Nursing student whose passing has left teammates, classmates, friends, and loved ones grieving.
Izzy was known by those around her for her positivity, kindness, and ability to see the best in every situation. As a member of the GCSU community and the women’s soccer program, she touched the lives of many through her compassion, dedication, and uplifting spirit.
Women’s soccer head coach Jack Marchant remembered Izzy as a “beaming light of positivity,” sharing that she would always remain an important part of the Bobcat family.
Her unexpected passing has brought sadness throughout the university community as students, faculty, teammates, and friends come together to honor her memory and support one another during this difficult time.
