Early Life and Military Service
Born August 30, 1983, in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, Mr. Metzger grew up in Westmoreland County. He enlisted in the United States Army, committing nearly 20 years to active duty and reserve service:
Patriot Missile Defense: Served overseas in South Korea specializing in air and missile defense operations.
Army Reserve: Served as a water purification specialist in regional Army Reserve units.
Honors: Recognized for distinguished service with full military honors.
Community Engagement and Personal Interests
In addition to his military career, Mr. Metzger was an active participant in the Greensburg cultural and outdoor communities.
