Ryan Michael Jollimore Motorcycle Accident: Jollimore Dies After Motorcycle Crash on North Douglas Highway in Juneau
A deadly motorcycle crash on North Douglas Highway in Juneau, Alaska, has claimed the life of Jollimore, leaving behind grief and sorrow for those who knew him.
The crash was reported at approximately 2:23 p.m. in the 3900 block of North Douglas Highway. According to the Juneau Police Department, emergency officials responded to the scene and found Jollimore unresponsive.
JPD’s preliminary investigation determined that both the motorcycle and a postal delivery vehicle were traveling inbound, or southeast, along North Douglas Highway.
Police said the postal vehicle turned into the outbound lane of travel before the motorcycle collided with the driver-side front corner panel of the vehicle. The impact resulted in fatal injuries to Jollimore.
Emergency officials attempted to respond to the situation, but Jollimore was pronounced deceased a short time after responders arrived at the scene.
The driver of the postal delivery vehicle was not injured in the crash.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain part of the preliminary investigation as authorities work to establish the full sequence of events leading up to the fatal impact.
