According to Arkansas State Police, Salvador was struck by a 2011 white Chevrolet pickup while on State Highway 88 East near 3108 Highway 88 East in Ink. The collision was reported around 8:18 p.m. as the pickup traveled eastbound. Despite efforts to save him, Salvador was transported to Mena Regional Health System, where he was later pronounced dead.
