According to preliminary investigative findings, 38-year-old Levi R. Nation, of Allegan County, Michigan, was operating an eastbound 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2026 Freightliner semi-tractor head-on. Emergency medical service personnel evaluated Nation at the scene, where he succumbed to impact injuries and was pronounced deceased. The driver of the semi-truck, a 41-year-old Goshen resident, was evaluated by medical crews following the collision.
