JACKSON, Miss. — Questions are mounting after a 29-year-old Black woman was found dead, hanging from a tree behind a vacant home in Jackson, Mississippi, Tasia Fortune was discovered Monday, Aug. 3. Reports indicate her body may have been at the location for three to four days before she was found.
According to local reports, Fortune was positioned so high in the tree that a ladder was needed to bring her body down
