Police say 11 people were shot early Sunday near Locust Street. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Task Force is investigating.

Two people were killed and nine others were wounded in a shooting early Sunday in Trenton, according to police.
Officers responded around 12:25 a.m. to the area of 194 Locust St. after receiving a report of multiple shots fired.
Police found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds. Eleven victims have been confirmed, including two who were pronounced dead.
Other victims were treated at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
Police did not immediately release information about the victims or their conditions.
