There was a shooting at the Barberton McDonald’s at 500 W. Tuscarawas Ave. the afternoon of Aug. 31.
Two victims sustained minor injuries, according to Martin Eberhart, public information officer. One was shot in the leg, according to scanner traffic.
The shooting was reported at 1:33 p.m. The shooter was taken into custody at 1:36 p.m., Eberhart said.
Medics were sent to aid victims.
There is no threat to the public at this time, Eberhart said.
