With heavy hearts, loved ones are mourning the tragic loss of Christina Burbano Jeffrey, 50, whose life was cut short following a devastating four-vehicle collision in the Canyon Country area near Santa Clarita.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Rainbow Glen Drive, according to information from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
A witness reportedly told authorities that one of the drivers was traveling in the wrong direction shortly before a head-on collision occurred. Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, including a white Honda CR-V.
Christina was transported to a nearby hospital following the collision. Despite efforts to save her, she sadly died upon arrival.
Two other people were also injured in the crash. One sustained major injuries, while the other suffered less serious injuries. Both were transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
