Jordin Jacobie Coles Obituary-Car Accident: Jordin Jacobie Coles, 18, Killed in Tragic Interstate 65 Crash in Pleasant Grove
The Pleasant Grove community is mourning the unexpected loss of Jordin Jacobie Coles, 18, who died Tuesday morning following a tragic crash on Interstate 65.
According to authorities, the fatal collision happened around 3:46 a.m. Tuesday on northbound I-65 near University Boulevard. Coles was reportedly driving a Cadillac ATS sedan when the vehicle appeared to sideswipe a motorcycle traveling in the area.
Following the impact, Coles’ vehicle left the interstate and traveled down an embankment toward University Boulevard. The crash caused Coles to be ejected from the vehicle.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Coles was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 4 a.m. Emergency responders arrived shortly after the crash, but he could not be saved.
The motorcyclist involved in the collision was expected to recover and was reported to be in stable condition.
As news of Coles’ passing spreads, friends, family members, and members of the Pleasant Grove community are remembering an 18-year-old life lost far too soon. Loved ones are mourning his death and offering support to those affected by the heartbreaking tragedy.
