Debo Stewart Obituary-Shooting News: Corpus Christi Man Killed in Tiger Lane Shooting as Woman Arrested on Manslaughter Charge
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — With heavy hearts, the Corpus Christi community is mourning the tragic loss of Debo Stewart, whose life was taken following a shooting Tuesday night on Tiger Lane.
According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 10:41 p.m. on September 15 to the 3500 block of Tiger Lane after receiving a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Stewart deceased. Authorities said he was pronounced dead at the location.
Police reported that 71-year-old Muriel Stewart was detained at the scene and taken to the Corpus Christi Police Department’s main station for an interview. Following the interview, she was arrested and transported to the City Detention Center, where she was booked on a manslaughter charge.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation as authorities continue working to determine what led to the tragic incident.
