The Sioux Falls community is mourning the tragic loss of Nick Schramm and RaeAnn Huber, who were killed Saturday afternoon in a devastating multi-vehicle crash near West Vision Drive and North Marion Road.

Officials said the crash occurred around 4:50 p.m. on May 16, 2026, involving a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider pickup truck, and a 2016 Chrysler 300.

According to authorities, Schramm and Huber were both riding on the motorcycle when it collided with the pickup truck at the intersection. Schramm was pronounced dead at the scene, while Huber was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but later died from her injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck also suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized. No injuries were reported among the occupants of the third vehicle.

As news of the crash spread, family members, friends, and members of the Sioux Falls community began expressing grief over the sudden and heartbreaking loss of two lives in a matter of seconds.
