According to police, White was riding his motorcycle when it collided with a pickup truck that was turning left into a driveway. Authorities confirmed the driver of the truck was a 17-year-old boy from Salem.

Emergency responders and witnesses attempted life-saving measures at the scene. Despite their efforts, Steven White was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Police confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
