According to court records, 38-year-old Bryan Andrew Moore was arrested following a lengthy standoff with law enforcement on Sunday evening. Moore has been booked into the Clackamas County Jail on charges including three counts of second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree kidnapping, attempted aggravated murder, assault, and felon in possession of a firearm.

Investigators allege that Moore fatally shot Jenna Mary Overson, Mary Beth Overson, and Kobyn McClure at a residence in the 39500 block of Evans Street. Authorities described the incident as a domestic violence-related tragedy.

Sandy Police and deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a disturbance and shooting shortly before 4 p.m. on May 31. Upon arrival, officers reportedly came under gunfire. One police officer sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was airlifted to a hospital. Police Chief Patrick Huskey said the officer is expected to survive.

The standoff continued for several hours before Moore surrendered to law enforcement just before 8 p.m., allowing officials to lift a shelter-in-place order that had been issued for nearby residents.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, social media posts shared by Jenna Overson have drawn significant attention. Earlier posts portrayed Moore as a supportive partner and father figure to her three sons. However, just days before her death, Overson shared a heartfelt message about heartbreak, self-worth, and overcoming the pain caused by another person’s actions, a post that has since resonated deeply with many following the case.

Family members have launched an online fundraiser to assist Overson’s three young sons, ages 10, 8, and 3, with counseling, daily living expenses, and future needs. Another fundraising campaign has been created to help cover funeral expenses and provide support for the loved ones of Kobyn McClure, whose death organizers described as both tragic and unexpected.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence surrounding the circumstances that led to the deadly incident.
