It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that family, friends, and members of the Pulaski, Mississippi, community remember Mason Havard, 18, whose life was tragically cut short following a single-vehicle crash in Scott County on Thursday morning.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 9:37 a.m. on Highway 481. Authorities reported that Mason was traveling south in a 2002 Ford Taurus when the vehicle left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree.
Mason was the only occupant of the vehicle. Despite the response efforts of emergency personnel, he sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
